Domestic Violence

We will:

  • Operate within a culture based upon the belief that people should be free from domestic violence
  • Acknowledge a report of domestic violence within 48 hours, or 24 hours in a more urgent case
  • Investigate the complaint and give a full reply within 10 working days
  • Make every effort to pursue the perpetrator, with the agreement of the victim
  • Work with other agencies to resolve cases of domestic violence
  • Support victims of domestic violence in a number of ways
