Racial harassment and other hate crime

We will:

  • Respond to any incident which is believed to be racially motivated by the victim or any other person
  • Not tolerate racial harassment or hate crime by or to any of our tenants, staff, customers or contractors
  • Aim to resolve reports of racial harassment or hate crime as fairly and speedily as possible
  • Acknowledge a report of racial harassment within 48 hours, or 24 hours in a more urgent case
  • Investigate the complaint and give a full reply within 10 working days
  • Support victims of racial harassment or hate crime in a number of ways
  • Make every effort to pursue the perpetrator, with the agreement of the victim
  • Work with other agencies to resolve cases of racial harassment or hate crime
