We offer a range of methods for customers to report a repair.  You can:

Giving us as much information as possible about your repair makes it easier for us to help you.

The length of time your repair will take depends on the type of work involved. We have four different priority groups (see table below).

If you report an urgent or routine repair, we will arrange a suitable appointment for you, and confirm the details in writing.

In some instances it may be necessary to undertake an inspection before the work is carried out.

You will also receive a satisfaction survey, asking for feedback on the work carried out.

For emergency and out of hours repairs, LHT will carry out a random sample phone survey.

We will ensure that all gas appliances and installations are checked at least every 12 months.

 1 Emergency   Repairs needed to avoid danger to health, or that pose a risk to safety Within 4 hours between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday   
 2 Urgent These are repairs that are not a major cause of discomfort or inconvenience Within 3 working days  
 3 Routine These repairs do not cause immediate damage to the building, its occupiers, or neighbouring properties  Within 10 working days 
 4 Out of hours emergency  These may be 'make safe' repairs and may require a follow up visit to complete the repair       Within 4 hours between 5pm and 9am on Monday to Friday and round the clock on Saturday and Sunday
