Rodney Housing would like to remind all of its tenants to ensure they get their fires and boilers checked every year. Gas Safety checks are a very important legal requirement that Rodney must carry out on an annual basis. The reason for this is that an inspection can spot if either a fire or boiler is leaking carbon monoxide, which is an invisible, odourless and tasteless gas. Carbon Monoxide can damage your health and in the worst cases cause death.

A small number of customers have failed to allow our staff access into their homes for this work to be carried out. By denying access to your home you could be putting both your own and other people’s lives at risk. This is why, in such cases, we are committed to taking legal action where appropriate.
